Ran across this family-owned spot that sits on a corner lot with plenty of parking, making it an easy and stress-free stop. They have a cute little train mini souvenir shop near the entrance that gives the restaurant a unique and welcoming touch. We stopped in for dinner and it was fairly quiet, which made for a relaxed dining experience. (Music would have added a little joy). The menu offered plenty of choices, and we went with one of the daily specials. While the food didn’t blow us away, it was enjoyable and satisfying. Overall, it feels like a comfortable, no-frills local restaurant that’s easy to pop into when you’re in the area.
Everything on the menu is good, but the breakfast is the best you'll ever find.
My husband and I enjoyed our NC style bbq lunch here today with yummy, southern sides. Our server was wonderful too. Highly recommend.

Good good, country cooking, good people, good prices
My family and I ate here for breakfast. The food was delicious. Everything from the eggs, sausage, grits to the omelette and were cooked to perfection. I have to give a shout out even to the sweet tea….. made in true southern style(SWEET). The restaurant has a super cute style and the waitress was very attentive. We are definitely going back to try lunch.

We visited for the first time over the weekend with a group of friends. Service was excellent from the time we were greeted walking in until the time we paid the check. Food was simple and very good! If you like a mom and pop home cooking establishment this is the place for you! We will be back to try more dishes!
A must visit if you’re a local or even just traveling through! Beautiful building on the corner of 13. The waitress was very attentive and food was delicious. The fried pork chops and fried pickle chips were amazing!
